This listing is for a Rear Wheel Conversion Kit. The Front Wheel Conversion Kit is different and is sold in a separate listing. 

If you have a TRX90 quad and you are looking for any of the following:
- better traction (even when braking)
- better flotation
- a more cushioned ride over bumps and jumps
- more stability in the turns or on hills
- or even just better looks then, you should be interested in this kit. (It also works very well with the TRX90 A-arm widening kit and rear shock kit mentioned below).

This kit, complete with hardware shown, will allow you to mount wheels and tires from a 250EX, 250R, 250X, 300EX, 400EX or 450R Honda ATV on your TRX90. (wheels with 4 holes on 110mm centers)

This kit also will convert to the very common adult Yamaha bolt pattern (wheels with 4 holes on 115mm centers)

Notice in the pictures how the design of the Honda wheels makes it possible to bolt this conversion plate in place without any modification to the wheel or the ATV.

Special note: Many customers have made use of these conversion kits to make other bolt pattern conversions, below are some examples:

     Our front wheel conversion kits have the 4/156 & 4/144 bolt patterns offset by 45 degrees, so the patterns are there.
     Our rear wheel conversion kits have the 4/115 & 4/110 bolt patterns offset by 45 degrees, so the patterns are there.

     There are two considerations to keep in mind for using these conversion kits:


  1.             The bolt heads for the NEW bolt pattern will need to avoid the shape of the hubs in between the stock studs.  For instance, if you look at the picture of the Yamaha Breeze 125 conversion, the picture shows that the hub had to be modified by the customer to avoid the new bolt pattern bolt heads. Other customers have used spacers under the conversion plates, but please keep in mind this may change the strength of hub/wheel system. We don't necessarily recommend this, but its at the customer's discretion on how to use the parts.
  2.             The bolt ends and nuts for the OLD bolt pattern will need to avoid the shape of the new wheels.  THIS MAY BE THE BIGGEST ISSUE for you to overcome.  For instance, if you look at the stock wheels on the 400ex shown in several of the pictures, they have a "clover leaf" shape that helps with this issue.  Many wheels do not have this shape.  This issue is least impactful when changing from a small bolt pattern to a larger bolt pattern, and is most difficult when going to a larger bolt pattern to a smaller pattern.

It is very common for wheels and tires from these quads to be available on eBay. Often owners of these quads upgrade to aftermarket tires and wheels for racing, or sell half-used tires mounted on wheels so they can buy new.

- This kit requires no cutting or welding, and can be installed easily in an afternoon for a typical home mechanic.

- We were ready to buy new tires and wheels for our 400ex, so we mounted the half-used tires and wheels on our TRX90 using these adapters. This setup is shown in the pictures (the rear tires are 20x10-9's).

The wider tires make the TRX90 a full four inches wider, and they work very well with the TRX90 Front Widening Kit or our TRX90 to 300ex Dual A-arm Conversion Kit that we also have available on our website.

With these new wheels and tires along with one of the front kits and rear shock conversion kit, our TRX90's have awesome performance, and the awesome looks they should have come with from the factory!

We also sell Custom Aluminum Rear Wheel Spacers that convert the bolt pattern from 4/85mm to 4/110mm while also adding 3 inches of width on each side!!! Check them out, they are unlike any other spacers on the market!!!  

- Steel plates are precision cut with a LASER for accuracy. Plates are 1/4" thick.

- THIS KIT COMES WITH INDUSTRIAL STRENGTH BLACK POWDER COAT FINISH. Kit components go through a seven stage chemical dip cleaning process, electro-statically dipped in black paint, baked, then powder painted and baked again to a super high-strength gloss-black finish.

- All the mounting hardware shown is included (tires and wheels not included). The hardware uses nylon insert-collar lock nuts to resist vibration and prevent loosening of the assemblies. We've never had to retighten a piece of hardware on any of these kits even after running motocross races for months.

The bolt pattern on a TRX90 is 4 on 85mm (3.35in) centers front and rear. The bolt pattern on a 400ex, 250r, 450r, 300ex, 250x or 250ex is 4 on 110mm (4.33in) centers on the front and 144mm (5.67in) on the rear. Tires and Wheels not included with this kit.
